Job Duties:

  • Lead the (a) Facility Management, (b) Safety and Security, and (c) Administration team (total of 30 staff) to manage daily operations and provision of services for HKPC building

(a) Facility Management

  • Plan, execute and monitor the office relocation and renovation projects, the improvement work plans for repair and maintenance of the building facilities and systems
  • Supervise and monitor the maintenance services, functions of building facilities and service provided by contractors, operators and vendors to enhance the quality, timeliness and effectiveness of the services
  • Manage building preventive maintenance measures to mitigate risks and eliminate non-conformity issues

        (b) Safety and Security

  •         Plan and execute the implementation of occupational safety, health and environmental initiatives in compliance with relevant regulations
  •         Enhance the safety standard of the operation and systems in the building
  •         Monitor the performance of security team to ensure proper execution of security mandates
  •         Manage emergency incidents reported and supervise security team to resolve the incident in timely and effective manner

        (c) Administration

  •         Oversee the administration team to perform full spectrum of office administration duties
  •         Monitor the office administration work and service provided by contractors, operators and vendors to enhance the quality, timeliness and effectiveness of the services

 

  • Oversee the technical documentation and tender specification process to implement just-in-time procurement
  • Manage the annual budget for capital and operating expenses, and liaise with internal customers and stakeholders
  • Recommend and drive continuous improvements
  • Handle ad hoc projects and assignments

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Building Services, Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent with minimum 8 years’ solid experience at managerial level
  • Solid experience in facility management of large commercial development, institution or public organization required
  • Extensive experience in handling large renovation projects required
  • Strong planning and implementation skills, with an eye on details
  • Excellent project and people management capabilities
  • Able to manage multi-projects and work under tight time frame
  • Excellent communication, influencing and problem solving skills
  • Proactive, diplomatic and strategic mind-set with a hands-on approach
  • Good knowledge of commercial building safety guidelines and regulations and prevailing statutory requirement will be advantageous
  • Knowledge in Occupational Safety & Health will be advantageous
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
