Job Duties:

  • Prepare for and implement the renovation of office and laboratory of a new centre from design options, prequalification, selection of contractors, site works from commencement to completion, move-in and out
  • Prepare tenders and RFQ with budget plans and cost analyses for services and purchases
  • Plan, manage and implement renovation works, regular maintenance and repair works
  • Follow-up maintenance contracts, and monitor contractors’ works as per project plans and schedules
  • Responsible for regular inspection and monitoring of building facilities, and coordinate with parties concerned for follow-up, and ensure legal compliance related to all statutory regulations and code of practices
  • Manage the FM stocks of spare parts and tools, and perform regular stocktake for control and replenishment
  • Handle emergency incidents, respond to enquiries or complaints in a timely manner and provide effective solutions
  • Perform regular safety and security audit and follow-up works, and provide advice on workplace safety
  • Undertake administrative duties and support other ad-hoc projects as assigned
  • Dual report to direct supervisor and functional head

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor degree or above from disciplines such as Facilities Management, Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 6 years’ or more relevant experience
  • Member of HKIE or other equivalent professional bodies an added advantage
  • Solid experience in management of Building Services/ Mechanical/ Electrical design and construction and renovation works
  • Well versed with the latest relevant ordinances, code of practices and the best technical practices
  • Self-motivated with strong communication and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge in AutoCAD an advantage
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
