AR-Empowered Robot Control System (ARERC System)
The AR-Empowered Robot Control System (ARERC), invented by HKPC, is a technology with the goal to address complex programming and control tasks in the industrial sector. Operators often face high technical requirements and various operation limits in dangerous environments and confined spaces, which can lead to safety concerns and reduced efficiency. However, with ARERC, a new human-machine collaboration framework is proposed to achieve a better balance between safety and efficiency for robots, adapting to various scenarios that change rapidly in actual production.
ARERC offers unique propositions such as collaborative task planning, intuitive robot control, adaptive task learning from human demonstration, and the complementarity of human-robot collaboration. This technology allows for AR-assisted multimodal robot interaction strategies for intuitive robot manipulation and reinforced robot learning methods for sim-to-real task planning and execution.
